Essential Skills Immersion Series: Teamwork

What are the most in-demand skills for today’s job market and the future of work? Each semester, this event series offers a week of sessions built around a specific skill to help students consider this question as they prepare for the careers of today and tomorrow. These sessions are designed to provide you with the knowledge of in-demand skills and opportunities to develop them, connect you with employers who seek these skills and help you articulate your career readiness to employers.

In the context of college life and employment, teamwork encompasses a variety of roles and importance as we work together and lead teams for micro and macro organizational goals. Whether working on a team for a class project, student organization, internship or job, learning how to work and lead a group is a vital skill for personal and professional success.

By participating in these sessions, you will learn how to manage projects and conflict in team scenarios, how to develop these skills and how to articulate your abilities for an internship, job or leadership role.
