Alejandra Fernandez received her PhD in Health Behavior and Health Education from UT-Austin in 2017. She is currently working as a Post-doctoral Associate at the University of Miami, School of Nursing and Health Studies, where she does research on the healthy development of Hispanic adolescents, the influence of parental behaviors on adolescent development, and the beneficial interactive behaviors between parent and adolescent. Alejandra’s post-doctoral position was awarded through a diversity supplement funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) at the National Institute of Health.

Gracieli Scremin received their Ph.D. in Advertising from UT-Austin in 2007. They are currently working as a Data Analyst at Citi, where they are responsible for overseeing data migration efforts from relational database systems into big data analytics platforms such as Hadoop, designing data modeling processes, and creating algorithms and predictive models to extract data and deliver insights to meet business needs and goals.

Shannon Dugan Iverson received her PhD from the University of Texas at Austin in 2015. She is currently working at AstraZeneca as a Design Research Lead. In this role, she produces the generative and evaluative research needed to help her team create digital systems that allow scientists to design and deliver clinical trials.

Susan Zakaib received her PhD in History from UT-Austin in 2016. She is currently working as a freelance grants’ consultant through her own business, called Fund Your Movement, where she supports movement building nonprofits to grow their grant funding through grant writing, coaching and training.

Michelle received her PhD in Human Development from UC Davis in 2017 and was a postdoc at UT Austin from 2017-2019. She is currently working as an Evaluation Analyst I at Austin Independent School District (AISD), where she plans and conducts program evaluations for the Multilingual Education Team and Creative Learning Initiative. She has published 4 evaluation reports in her time at AISD (among 16 total publications) and launched an innovative “data party” with stakeholders to disseminate her findings. She has been awarded both national and international grant funding for her independent research proposals throughout her graduate and postgraduate career.
