Create Relationships with Multiple Mentors
Graduate students and postdocs usually have a primary mentor through their academic training. However, best practices in mentorship indicate that those who have several mentors for different purposes that include career mentorship, academic development, skill acquisition and expanding connections have more productive mentoring relationships. Hookedin is a platform specifically for UT Austin students and alumni to connect.
How to Use Hookedin:
- Connect with university resources and Longhorns worldwide.
- Explore careers across a variety of industries and interests.
- Find a mentor in a specific industry, company, location or area of interest.
- Advance your career by building relationships with Longhorns at the top of their field and by accessing exclusive career resources.
