HireUTexas
HireUTexas, powered by Handshake, is the all-inclusive job board where UT Austin students and alumni can connect with local, national, and global employers offering career- and professional-oriented full-time jobs (entry- to senior-level) and part-time and seasonal jobs.

New Users
In order to sign up for a HireUTexas account, you must use your utexas.edu email address and have an active UT EID. If you have these, you can logon here.
If you do not have these, please use the following instructions to update your UT credentials and sign up for your Handshake account.
- First, make sure your EID is active and you know your password by using the EID self-help tools. You will use your EID credentials to log into Handshake.
- Next, claim your utexas.edu email address here.
- Update your directory information here to ensure that your official UT email address is your utexas.edu address.
- Visit utaustin.joinhandshake.com and click “Sign up for account.”
- Use your utexas.edu email address to request your account.
- Once approved, note that you will use your EID credentials—and not the password you created with Handshake—to log into your Handshake account at utaustin.joinhandshake.com

Create a free Indeed account to upload your resume. Browse job and internship positions by location in the search bar. Filter results based on your requirements, research reviews of the organization to learn more, and set up job alerts for new job postings. Additionally, explore average salaries by organization and job title.
