Internal Transfer Application Drop-Ins
Are you applying to transfer into a new major? Need help with your internal transfer application documents? Stop by one of our multiple drop-in sessions with Texas Career Engagement staff to have your resume and personal statement reviewed. Drop-in appointments last about 15 minutes and are on a first come, first served basis. Sessions are offered in-person at the Texas Career Engagement office.

Summer Exploration Grants
Texas Career Engagement is offering grants to students seeking funds for academic and career exploration and professional development during Summer 2024. Since the program’s inception in 2010, recipients have put their grants toward a variety of diverse and creative experiences, including:
- Attending a screenwriter’s workshop
- Taking culinary classes
- Participating in dental assistant training
- Creating a blog and podcast of interviews with people working in social justice
- Building a greenhouse and growing sustainable crops
- Participating in the Halliburton Summer Business Foundations Institute
- Teaching English to elementary students in Cuzco, Peru
Applications require students to communicate how their academic or career plans will benefit from the experience or resource.
Application deadline: April 26, 2024
Introducing GenAI Academy
GenAI Academy offers a curation of projects, courses and certificates related to generative artificial intelligence, the technology transforming the future of work. University of Texas at Austin students have FREE access to GenAI through the UT Coursera program.
Learn from experts in the AI field by enrolling in courses such as:
- Introduction to Generative AI: Google Cloud
- Generative AI with Large Language Models: DeepLearning.AI
- Generative AI: Prompt Engineering Basics: IBM
Students can enroll in GenAI Academy by signing up on the Texas Career Engagement website. Availiability is limited, so register soon to reserve your seat!
