Beat the Bots: Writing Resumes for Robot Recruiters Workshop
Are you submitting application after application and not hearing back from employers? Your resume is often sent through an automated screening system called an Applicant Tracking System before any people review it. If the Applicant Tracking System doesn’t give your resume a high score, the employer may never see it!
During this event, students will learn about Applicant Tracking Systems and practice strategies to better prepare their resume to land in the hands of human decision-makers that can offer them a job!
Beat the Bots: Writing Resumes for Robot Recruiters
Wednesday, March 20, 3- 4 p.m. Central
Make Quality Career Connections
Expanding your professional network doesn’t have to be a daunting or awkward task. If you’re looking for in-person connections, consider attending a Quality Career Connections event! This series of events will provide you space to talk with alumni and employers in a relaxed environment about their role, industry and career journey. Each event is grouped by industry focus. Come to one or all based on your career interests!
Open to all majors! Students are welcome to come and go during the event.
