The LaunchPad Ideas Competition
The LaunchPad at UT Austin is currently offering a grant opportunity for students to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities.
The LaunchPad Ideas Competition is an application-only opportunity for UT Austin to receive up to $10,000 in grant funding for their business idea. This is an intentionally low-lift competition, meaning students do not need to have traction, customers, a pitch deck, co-founders, letter of rec, or recorded video to apply.
Students simply select a track (listed below), and fill out this 10-minute form describing their venture idea before the deadline of November 10th. Four submissions will receive $1,000 in grant funding for their idea. One team will move on to the national round to compete for a $10,000 grand prize. After students are awarded, there is no expectation for them to show progress or to pursue their venture idea.
